Often the most attractive and efficient curtain treatment is a simple fabric panel shirred on a rod. Hem the side edges of the fabric, sew a generous bottom hem and a rod-pocket at the top. Then slip it onto an outside mounted rod or a tension rod mounted inside the window casing.
